The safe upper limit of vitamin C is set at 2gm, however, some people don't tolerate the acidic nature of vitamin C at doses higher than 500mg due to people's differing stomach sensitivities. This is why we produced our Vitamin C Buffered product, which is designed for those who have a sensitive stomach and require Vitamin C, as mineral buffers are used to change the pH balance in ascorbic acid, making it less acidic. Our products are designed in line with customer demand and nutritional needs, which the Vitamin C capsules serve, we are sorry to hear that this product may not be suitable for you but it sounds like the Vitamin C Buffered may be better suited to your needs.
