If a supplier joins Feefo, the supplier commits to telling us of every sale. When the customer has had a chance to receive the product or service, we email them to ask what they think about the supplier. The customer responds with a very simple form on our site, and the feedback is displayed on our site (or on the client site via an XML feed) for all to see.
The supplier puts a link on his site to say ‘See what our customers think about us’. (see the example below)
The link shows the percentage of customers who have professed themselves happy with their service, and is updated dynamically. Clicking on the link leads customers to the correct page to see the feedback.
It’s a version of the same feedback system you see on eBay or Amazon, without which eBay could not function. Our one is modified, however, to encourage some real conversation between supplier and customer.
