Product links are links from each product name as displayed in Feefo feedback pages to the equivalent product page in the supplier website.
Inserting these links has proved to have a beneficial effect on the rankings of the product pages so linked in search engine rankings
To institute such links you need to set a 'product page' link in your supplier details, which may differ between different categories, but must be uniform across products. Thus if your website has product pages of the form
http://www.supplier.com/showproduct.php?pid=VENDORREF'
or similar, you need only let Feefo know this form directly by setting the 'product page' in the vendor details.
If, on the other hand, your website uses different techniques to label product pages, you may need to set up a forwarding page of the form:
http://www.supplier.com/feefoforwarding.php?pid=VENDORREF
or similar, which may then forward to the correct product page. Using this technique will also ensure that, if you change the naming of your product pages, the Feefo links will not be broken.
The link may contain the reserved words VENDORREF, PRODUCT, LOGON. In the former case, the VENDORREF will be substituted directly for the Vendor Ref from the sale. In the case of PRODUCT, it will be substituted with the Product Name off the sale, but with spaces replaced by '-'. The LOGON will tell you which branch of your business is referenced if this is not obvious.
To set the Product page, you need to choose 'Upload Vendor Details', then download your existing details. Looking at this file in Excel, you will see that there is a column marked 'Product Page'. Fill this in, saving as a text file, then upload the file again.
