First the website crashed when taking my credit card details - i then emailed asking for clarification as to what had/had not happened - no response. Phoned the next day and answer was rather indifferent.. Delivery times not as stated - didn't matter to me but why mislead. Appears not well set up for e-tailing.

Service rating : Out of stock when ordered, back in stock for the 12th, arrived on the 14th so delivered as promised.
Product rating : Ordered this Logmaster table to go with the dual splitter by Logmaster, unfortunately this table is designed to go with the single Logmaster splitters only. I am going to keep it though and adapt the plate to fit. The problem is the dual splitter is too short and only just sits on the plate at the one end, will have to drill a couple of new holes in the frame and move the plate along so the foot of the splitter sits centrally. Pity this is not made clear when ordering the dual action splitter, which is why I've given it a negative rating. Despite this the table seems up to the job. Time will tell.

Product rating : Logmaster actually make 2 Log Splitter Tables the FT370 and the FT520. The one sold by Clifford James is the 90cm long 520 which is suitable for the longer single Logmaster splitters. The shorter FT370 (75cm) table is the one suitable for the dual splitter. Perhaps you could consider stocking both models?

Service rating : The item ordered ( a log splitter) arrived quickly, but on opening I discovered it was damaged in transit. CJ immediately dispatched a replacement and then arrranged for the old one to be collected. It wasn't their fault it was damaged, but they acted quickly to resolve the situation. And they were there to do this on a Saturday.
Product rating : This is a good idea but frankly should be included with the splitter as std. (just add it onto the price). A couple of issues - lifting the splitter on is a 2-man job and once there you struggle to move it. The table need a couple of wheels on one end so it can be wheeled into position. Second issue is that whilst it's a massive improvement not having to operate the splitter on the floor, the table is still a bit low - could do with being 10cms higher. Maybe if I fit wheels to the table it will raise the height.

You passed the item to your shipper the next day, allegedly they tried to delivery one Friday morning, failed and left a card. The address however was a Goods Inwards dept open 14hours per day, no card was found. Two weeks later I chased up delivery only to be told that they don't attempt second deliveries, they wait for a response to the card - hopeless!!!!!

I was initially impressed with price and service but when the log splitter after 10 days use split itself I was very disapointed in attitude and service. i had shipped the log splitter to france and had a quote for a repair. A small contribution to that cost would have been much appreciated. the motor of the log splitter is good the frame is weak. You have refunded my postage of £10 as a goodwill gesture. slightly more say £30 and you would have had a satisfied customer who recommended you. instead I feel you took advantage of the situation and got out of it as cheaply as possible. I would advise friends not to use you

Service rating : Friendly efficient service over the phone. Products let down by very bad delivery service. Very heavy og splitter was delivered by vehicle with no sack trolley and I was expected to help lift it into place! When unpacked found it had been damaged and a replacement had to be sent. That was well organised
Also odered a stand that came with a damaged bolt but we fixed that ourselves.
Product rating : It works well and is easy to use. The stand we bought afterwards is almost essential

Service rating : Table arrived when they said it would, but packaging very poor. They used the box that came from China with no extra protection. The bottom of the box was loosly taped. The pack of nuts and bolts was broken and one of the bolts fell out of the box , I assume through the bottom of the poorly taped box. If they had fully taped the box along the side as well as the length then the bolt would not have been lost. I had to go to my local DIY store to buy a new bolt,

The log splitter arrived ok although it had obviously been dragged along by the courier. This had damaged the plastic feet covers but didn't affect the operation. What a pity that I had to chase them for the free gift.

Product rating : The table was a little 'light weight' but once assembled proved to be stronger that I thought but still could do with some more supports.
