Clifford James sells mens and womens shoes and clothing, and has a database of over 600,000 loyal customers. Although, the business has become one of the largest suppliers of shoes in the UK, we have never lost sight of what has taken us here, namely quality and value for money.

Read more	I am sorry to hear of the issues you have encountered with your banking details but I do not think this was down to a transaction made with Clifford James as we process around 6,000 credit card transactions a day and are systems PCI level 1 compliant. Due to the volume of orders that we process we will occasionally get reports of fraud and these are always investigated fully.

I had to use a premium telephone number to report this mistake.I then had to go out in snow to take the item back to the collection point. I was assured that I would have the postage refunded to cover the inconvenience, but this hasn't happened. A second item, correct this time was despatched the next day, before my return reached the supplier. So this was impressive. However, I am disappointed not to receive my refund and not to be able to speak easily to customer services. Our warehouse staff are generally very accurate indeed so I must apologise that we have inadvertently sent you the incorrect bed spread. We do take measures to ensure that mistakes of this nature are kept to a minimum but sadly human error does intervene. I can confirm that your postage has now been refunded and I do hope that this very rare error does not deter you from ordering from us again in the future.

Product rating : Good quality, but the shade of yellow was a surprise - I don't like it (would have preferred a more lemony shade), but needed to put it on the bed so can't change it now. A pity, but not your fault - it's the problem with ordering online, as the colour reproduction on screen is unreliable. Read more	Thank you for your feedback. Our marketing and photography departments do their best within the constraints of the technology available to ensure that our photographs portray our items in as accurate a manner as possible. However we appreciate that despite our photography department’s best efforts nothing can replace seeing an item 'in the flesh' However we are always seeking ways to improve and as such your comments have been passed along to the teams responsible.

Read more	Thanks for your feedback. We are able to despatch orders on a Sunday making them available for delivery on a Monday. This was the case with your order but sadly the courier service let us down on this occasion. This is certainly not the service that we expect our courier partners to be offering our customers.
