Audio Mastering

We just had the new Tribazik album 'Data Warfare' mastered by Alex Balzama at Swift Mastering and it sounds amazing! Alex will get inside every song but he will maintain the dynamics which for us is the key. Thank you Swift Mastering.

I always feel welcome and comfortable at Swift Mastering. It's a small studio and has a cosy atmosphere. I've attending three mastering sessions and they've all been smooth and swift. The quality of my masters has always been good and their prices are cheaper than any mastering studio I've come across so far.

Mixing

A fantastic mix from Alex@Swift Mastering. Went in with some disorganised, and not fantastically recorded sessions (recorded elsewhere I should note, not at Swift), came out with a finished mix that was much better than hoped for given the raw tracks. It was a really relaxed but professional environment, and Alex quite clearly knows his craft.

Looking forward to doing some more recording so we can get another set of mixes done.

As an added bonus, and as mentioned in another comment, really good coffee too.

They are more than professionals. What I perceived (not only from listening to the final product, but also from seeing how they handled the whole work for me and my needs) is that they love their job and are very flexible-minded. I could have never imagined that my songs would sound so good (and they were far from being a professional recording!). To me, 100% satisfaction.

We had a fantastic time at Swift Studios.
Francesco and Lorenzo were very helpful and dedicated. The end result of the recording is wonderful and we will definitly go back to record there happily!

Training

Alex atSWIFT, was friendly, welcoming and knowledgable. It was great to learn about his mastering techniques and I felt engaged in the course content most of the time. The PDF slide show he gave me was good although a little muddled in its content and presentation.
I really enjoyed the laid back (music industry style) approach, which as Alex knows is how we work in the industry. Had the educational side been too formal, I would have become board.

I would recommend SWIFT both educationally and as a professional entity.

I rated Swift Masterin "poor" because no option was right in the middle, in fact i'd rather rate : Center -
We had the mastering re-done twice for it seemed bass frequencies were lacking on their first job, and only the third version with their version of "maximum bass" was suitable.
Surprise when we got the physical CD master : there was way too much bass on it, even though they were well contained (this is a proof of their professionalism). After thinking it over and over we (the band) finally thought that the bass frequencies were "lost" through the files compression and/or transfers. It's a shame actually for if the master files they send can't be trustworthy because of a technical failure via the Internet, the clients will have a flawed preview of their job.
On the positive side I though can say they're nice people and easy to deal with.

HI guys thank you ever so much for your feedback. I have to admit that this comes out a bit as a surprise as you have never mentioned this to us and we are very sorry that your experienced with us was not completely satisfactory.
But, if you allow us, it sounds like our advice not to push the bottom that far in the end was correct...hence the 3 versions of your masters. I think that ftp is not to blame, as all files were sent zipped first and therefore going through checksum. It might have been monitoring settings. In other words, the wav files gave you a false reading through your media player whereas the PMCD gave you the correct sound. Just a wild guess as this was over a year ago.
I really whish you would let us know back then as I can promise you we would have investigated this matter further until everything was resolved.
Anyway guys, loved the music and working with you. Keep up the good work and I whish you all the best of luck with your music ;)
