Flight From Glasgow To Toronto

The price was good, although your webiste was not clear at all. I looked at my options and chose to fly into London Heathrow, which is highlighted on the front page. I selected my flights and hit the booking button assuming that I was still flying out of London Heathrow. When I seen my booking after I had sent it, I noticed that I was flying into London City. The booking was made late in the evening, your website states that the booking would be made final during business hours. I called your call centre immediately next morning so as to rectify this. He said it could be changed as it was not booked yet, although he could not change it to London Heathrow as was highlighted on your front page. He tried to make me pay in excess of £100 - £150 pounds to alter my details, to go into London Heathrow or even pay a whole lot more to fly direct. I am a sixty year old woman, travelling alone, I also have to get my baggage off the flight at London City and travel across London a city I do not know alone. Means of trasnport to get across the city is 2 - 3 underground tubes and then a train into London Heathrow. I was impressed with the cost of the flight but certainly not the service after I had realised that I would have been flying into London City. I would have never chosen this option as I have disabilities. I have written to your Director/CEO and as of today I have still not received a response. On the site looking at other options, the front page always states via London Heathrow, yet when you go onto the next page after hitting the booking button it states London City or even Stanstead airport, this is totally misleading. I considered booking a flight direct into London Heathrow at a cost of £64. and connecting with my flight. I was told if I don't take the flight into London City, all my other connections would be cancelled. For all of those reasons I have to say the service is extremely bad, with the misleading information on the page where I booked the flights from Glasgow to Toronto. I travel to Toronto 2 times in the year, I won't ever use Travel Up again. A page should pop up saying this booking you think is going into London Heathrow is actually going into London City or Gatwick or Standsted. Make the first booking page clear. I am dreading the first haul of this trip, I just don't know how I am going to cope on m own getting from London City to London Heathrow with my disabilities, I will have 2 pieces of Luggage and hand luggage to get across the city on minimum 2 tubes and a train during morning rush hour, I will have to maneouvre, stairs and escalators up and down. Thank you Travel Up. You could have rectofied this the following morning after I had booked, knowing that it had not been processed at your end.

Travelup are by far, the WORST company I have used EVER! I will NEVER EVER use them again and will ensure I advise anyone I know never to use you. The whole experience from the beginning was horrible! The people were rude, sarcastic and aggressive. They were completely unhelpful and hung up on me several times. When I asked for a name of the person I was speaking to they said no to both and just hung up on me! I hate this company, they have ruined the fun leading up to my holiday and cost me an extra £30 in phone calls. Absolutely disgusting!
