My car was taken in for a check and 2 days later the tyre burst due to wear and tear that should have been picked up on. They were also meant to give me more information on a new key and wiper blades but I have not heard from them since. I am not very impressed.
The changes within the department have gone along way, i will be come back for my next service.

There is confusion regarding the automatic window. Page 2-33 of the owner's manual states that it opens and shuts automatically.
The sales rep is certain that it only opens automatically. This discrepancy should be resolved by the dealers.
Both the site and the staff were excellent. If I had any queries the staff quickly answered them. The whole process from viewing to handover was so seamless.

I have recently had a very bad experience with them and a very rude general manager!!27-Feb-2013To summarise my problems with this service department, I have to complain about extremely bad vehicle inspection resulting in service work being reported as needing urgently to be done at high cost whereby it was actually proved to not be required at all, this was bad communication of the facts to me, whereby I was strongly encouraged to have this expensive unnecessary work carried out. Another incident where work was required and a firm price was given for that work at the time of booking for the MOT and then 1 week later during the MOT and its failure the price for exactly the same work increasing by approximately £300.00 to a whopping over £900.00, nearly a fifty per cent increase!! The last time I complained I was confronted with I quote “why do you come here, why don’t you go elsewhere, just pay up” by a member of staff who claimed to be the General Manager. The bad information and communication, attitude and staff mistakes I’ve experienced here recently have led me to my distrust of this service department.
I have only praise for the service I recieved from Wessex Fiat ,on my last visit.
I was greeted in a polite and friendly way at 8.30 am, and the car was ready at the precise time they said it would.As I belong to the service scheme there was no
payment involved or paper work other than signing the job in and out. I was then
escorted to my car where I found it had been valeted. Excellent service all round.
Given all information requested,accurately ,nothing too much problem for them to answer.

All staff very polite and helpful both on the phone and inthe showroom. I have great confidence in the service they carried out on my car and the car was returned much cleaner than when it went in!
The new brake and disc pads were fitted quickly and reasonably.
The service we received at Wessex Garages was excellent, they went out of there way to ensure we were satisfied. Both my husband and myself were very impressed and would happily buy a car from them again in the future.

Everything went as planned. Did expect a "loan car" as I have a premium service plan with Wessex, none provided but this was not a problem as I did not have any planned driving.
Could do something with the coffee, as they usually ask you if you would like one, but if staff are busy you don't like to ask for a drink, maybe they could give you a code or so many tokens, (just a thought) as some people live quite a distance from garage so is easier to wait for car, maybe I'm being picky as we are talking about coffee when it's a garage after all, but as I have a few cars and use Newport wessex for my cars maintenance, I do tend to wait for my vehicles as I live some distance away, and talking to other customers while waiting they also feel the same way, but I must congratulate Wessex on the video they send you on the cars work, as it gives you peace of mind that the work done is genuine and was needed.
