We’re really disappointed that you didn’t find the property up to scratch as your reservation is very important to us.
As explained in previous conversations, the credit voucher does not cover previous promotions, but only the amount spent. Therefore you have used your credit as for the amount spent in 2020, over the price range of 2022 which although it did not increase we could not offer the same promotion/discount that was valid 2 years before.
I can assure you there were no “dodgy sales tactics” during your re-booking. We just wanted to make sure you could book your preferred dates before another potential customer waiting for your final decision would do.
At the time of booking, we emailed you our travel package with instructions on the villa, a map of all services in the proximity, and check-in instructions. Unfortunately, you arrived very late in the evening, so we were unable to carry out the check-in procedures as expected.
We are very sorry that the property owner did not provide the welcome hamper as per our indications, but only an ice cream cake which was very delicious though.
Rubbish bins are actually available at the villa.
We have no record of a dead bird in the pool which is quite unusual indeed, neither of undertaking noisy construction work which I agree would be very annoying.
Low season in Fontane Bianche doesn’t offer much in terms of local services. However your initial reservation was planned for Spring, and were advised October is not the best time of the year to visit such a tourist destination.
Certainly we will try to take advantage of your valuable advice on improvements of the interior of the house as to make sure the whole property will respect the same high quality standards criteria of all properties we represent.
