To straighten a slightly bent plastic post just turn it over so the curve it pointing up and let the sun do its work or turn the other way round and add some weight to each end. That's how we straighten them. Once installed bending should no longer occur. It happens when stored on a surface not completely flat in very hot sun. Should always be covered before use and laid on a flat surface, fully supported along its length.

Sorry to hear your post bent in the heat. However, it can also be straightened in the heat. This problem occurs when product is left on its side in hot sun for a considerable time before installation and not on a flat surface. When installed upright and along with other profiles attached this issue does not arise. Also, our Ultra quality posts are stiffer, although you don't want to lay any recycled plastic post on an uneven surface in hot sun for long. They aren't meant to be used that way except for edging.
