We had a really great day on the river! Our guide was knowledgable and personable and even took us to a special inlet that was a rare treat. It could not have been better!

Thank you for providing us with your feedback. We are very pleased to know that you enjoyed your Kennebec River whitewater rafting trip with Grace as your guide. We do apologize for any discomfort you experienced with the beds in your cabin. Although we do everything we can to ensure our guests have a comfortable stay with us, it is very difficult to provide beds that will suit everyone's needs. We do appreciate the feedback and will certainly take your comments back to our Management department for further discussion.

The experience was great but the instruction and plan wasn't given to use before hand quite ediquate. People come all the way from Boston to do the rafting but we weren't give good set of instruction

Thank you for providing us with your feedback. We are glad to know you enjoyed your Penobscot River whitewater rafting trip. We do apologize for any possible misunderstandings during the orientation meeting. Our trip leaders always advise our guests that they do not need to bring anything non-essential or items of great value (something you are not willing to lose) on the trip, but do need to bring items of importance such as any medications. If a guest cannot see well without glasses, they are encouraged to bring them, but to purchase chums to make sure the glasses have less risk of being lost during the rafting trip. All of these items can be given to their guide to put in their guide bag for safe keeping or if you have a small dry bag with a carabiner that can be hooked to the raft. We do hope this explanation helped provide you with further clarification and a better understanding when preparing for another whitewater rafting trip so that you can fully enjoy all aspects of the trip without concern.

Northern Outdoors is the premier spot for whitewater in the Forks. Best equipment, most services, and best lodging. Good food, friendly people. Worth the trip.
