Thank you for providing us with your feedback. We are sorry to know that you didn't find your whitewater rafting experience to be a thrilling as you anticipated. Although it appears you did enjoy your time on the water this year, we might suggest looking at the Penobscot River for your next rafting adventure. With the class 3-5 waves that come in stages along that river, the steep drops, short & powerful rapids and that river being more of a challenge on a technical level, you may find it personally more exciting. We hope to see you return next season.

Staff was great. Lodge crew, raft guides, and ancillary staff go out of their way to make experience great. Cabin was very clean.

The rafts, guides, gear and river were all very nice. The river flow was great and loved the class IV rapids. Overall great experience!

Thank you for your feedback. The Penobscot river has exhilarating whitewater, in stages. There is very calm water after Nesowadnehunk Falls to the Abol Bridge Campground for about 4 1/2 miles. We utilize an outboard so that our guests do not get worn out trying to paddle in calm water. A very long and tiring day would be had by all if we didn't utilize motorized assistance towards the end of the trip. :)

We are glad the trip from Virginia to Maine was well worth the drive.....twice! :) The Dead River is an awesome river to whitewater raft and since there are only (8) releases per year, it is highly sought after rafting trip to book. We agree that Conor and Brent are great guides! :) We're glad they showed you a good time rafting the Dead River. The location along the river was nice. Be prepared with some extra blocks to level your RV, and a long enough power cord since the sites are not set up like traditional RV sites with the power connect

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. We are happy you enjoyed the RV site location near the Kennebec River. That is a very scenic area of our campground. We are sorry that you found it a bit difficult to reach the power connection at your site. Because of the location of the RV sites and the fact that they are not "secluded" as in many traditional camp sites, we needed to make sure the power sources are placed in a safe location to prevent damage. We do hope that will not deter you from coming back to stay with us again.
