Patrick Heron 1-3 September : 1996, 1996 mini print. During his long career Heron remained attached to the subject of colour, he claimed that 'colour is both the subject and the means; the form and the content; the image and the meaning, in my painting today'. Patrick Heron (1920-1999) is widely recognised as one of the most innovative figures in twentieth-century British art. He worked as a painter, critic and polemicist throughout his life and played a major role in the development of post-war abstract art. All our mini prints measure 28 x 35.6 cm and include a white border with full artwork credit line. Our mini prints are produced on 250 gsm matt art paper using a four colour flat-bed digital printer. We work with only UK based PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forestry Certification) and FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified suppliers for our print products.
