When using this diffuser outside, we would advise to position it in a sheltered and non windy location, as wind elements are likely to make the diffuser ineffective, as the scent of the citronella will be weakened. For best results, we would advise you position this indoors, away from open windows and doorways. Here it will work much effectively. If you are after a more effective outdoor citronella product, I would advise you look into our STV420 citronella incense burner.
