Hello Judy, Thank you for taking the time to write a detailed review of the Garden Planner. Your feedback is important to us. You will receive our newsletter twice a month (first and third weekend of the month). This will include what you can plant or sow and is based on the plants you have included in your plan, so it's tailored to you and your location. The next newsletter should be sent out on the weekend of 5th-7th April. You'll see the planting reminders at the bottom of these newsletter. Ben's videos are more general about what you can plant at this time of the year but are not specific to your plan. Sorry about the confusion. Thank you for taking the time to leave a Garden Planner review. The Garden Planner was original developed for fruit and vegetable growers, but we have gradually been adding a wider variety of plants. Last year we added a lot of new plants including many flowers. I will forward your request for ferns to our development team for their consideration for the future. In the meantime it is possible to add custom plants by editing any existing plant icon. We'll contact you with details of how to do that.
