Thank you very much for your feedback. We do state in our brochure and on our website that the cruise on alternate weeks is in the reverse direction. The pre-cruise documentation also states that the cruise is between Carcassonne and Le Somail and itineraries are given in both directions. All the excursion still take place but on different days and the pick up/ drop off point is the same. New bicycles were rented when you pointed out the problem and we are glad that you and your party were able to enjoy the towpath cycling. We are sorry that you were disappointed with the food and wine. The menus on Clair de Lune include such dishes as confit of duck, rack of lamb, foie gras, fillet of beef and sea bass and chef Alex has received consistently high praise. The wines served on board are from reputable domaines and we aim to offer a wide selection of the best of the local regions such as the Languedoc, Corbières and Minervois. The tour guide was only concerned that you had not enjoyed the cruise after deciding not to offer a tip, as this is unusual, and certainly no offence was intended. European Waterways
