We very much appreciate the detail, and are very sorry to hear of the issues experienced whilst on board. Please rest assured that this has been passed on to the relevant teams for review. Indeed, our category class system refers primarily to the cabins. However, the service, gourmet meals, wines, escorted excursions, and other amenities on board should be of a similar high standard on all of our hotel barges. The general concept of hotel barging is that of a “floating house party” and you should feel at home to serve yourself at the bar to mix your own drinks if you prefer. Many people do. We are thrilled to hear that you found the cruise element to be well researched, and the shore tours to be brilliant!
