I am so glad that we took this option. The boat had so little power, I am not at all sure that sailing up the river was a serious option considering the amount of rain England had in May.
Le Magnifique was a most comfortable boat. I'm not sure I would do it with eight people, however. It was easy to drive and managing the locks was also fairly easy.
