We're glad you liked our location in the Maine Woods. We take a lot of pride in being a "one stop shop" for having an adventurous good time! :) We apologize for you not having good campfire wood during your stay. We wish you had come back to the main lodge and brought that to someone's attention so they could have tried to locate a better bundle of wood for you. We want our guests to enjoy their campfire! We are sorry an IPA wasn't available during your stay. Our brewmaster works very hard at brewing plenty of each type of beer to have available, but is sometimes taken by surprise in the attractiveness of a particular beer style within a very short period of time. Rest assured, he was hard at work brewing up more IPA. The afternoon float trips are a fun float on the Kennebec River for a couple of hours. It gives many the opportunity to enjoy the water, relax and take in the scenery. We hope you will consider coming back to try whitewater rafting the Kennebec River next time. If not, we'll have our afternoon float trip available for you again. :)

Great service and hospitality all around, from the front desk to the bar staff to the waiting staff , rafting crew and Atv crew. Everyone was very respectful and professional.

Maybe you can try the Kennebec River on a high water release date, the Dead River or even the Penobscot River on your next trip. :)

Whitewater rafting is a great team building experience! :) Glad you had a great time rafting with your team on the Kennebec River and staying in one of our larger cabins. Hiking in our area is really great. We have so many options available for varying hiking levels. Great trip! Ashley was an amazing guide. Then grilled salmon the guides cooked may have been one of the best meals I have had! The lodge is fun, plenty of activities for all! Highly recommend!
