The fact that the canal was quiet helped us complete the trip we intended. However, the subject of Quiet Zones when moored, will need careful attention for both boater and local canal side resident .

Enjoyable trip, we could not go to Bristol as planned due to high levels on the Avon however we devised an alternative itinerary.

the route we chose to bath and bristol was too overcrowded with permanent boaters it was very dificult to find a place to moor up near any towns or villages etc had to walk 800 m to visit bradford on
