Well, thank you for writing with your honest feedback, disappointing though it is. We’re very clear in our description - particularly the IN OUR OPINION section – that these villas are rated SIMPLE QUALITY. They are the original villa estate built at Moliets Plage. The villas are just a short walk to the beach, shops and restaurants and with a private pool too that does explain the relatively high summer prices. We also state these villas do not have wifi and guide people to the Clairiere estate if they want in-villa wifi. I’m sorry to read your comments too on Moliets and its restaurants. We’ve been selling villa holidays here for over 10 years and I have to say this is quite a contrast to what others say. Regrettably it sounds as though neither the choice of villa or destination was right for you and I’m very disappointed about this. Our next visit to the Ocean 17 villas is scheduled for October when we will make a decision about the estate. Very disappointed to read this. It’s not good enough. We have access to the entire Atlantic Green estate and if the villa is as you describe it, it should not be in Estivel’s rental programme full-stop. We will indeed be taking this up with Estivel immediately. Note we haven’t booked you into this villa previously – we have though made two villa reservations for you on the neighbouring Eden Parc estate. We will follow-up these issues with Estivel and come back to you – thank you very much for raising this with us. Thanks for writing! Great to hear that the house suited your family - we agree that it works really well for groups with young children. Hossegor is a popular destination with the French too and as you say, it does get busy during the school holidays. There is a huge stretch of sandy beach to explore, and on busy days it pays to find a quiet spot, such as north of Seignosse. Bethan

We have noted all your comments about the house and are working with the owners to ensure the issues you have raised are sorted. As this villa has only just been made available for rentals, and you were the first guests of the season, it's understandable (but still regrettable) that there were some niggles. We were happy for you to enter the house at very short notice but did explain that it would need to be cleaned thoroughly during your stay - thank you for your understanding on this. Bethan
