Small Group Cinque Terre Trip

Thank you for your feedback. We are very pleased to read you enjoyed exploring the picturesque towns with our driver-guide Claudio who is an experienced and customer-friendly driver-guide. Time permitting we also include a wine tasting stop to offer a true Italian experience. We are a bit confused by your comments about directions - each village has just one main road in it. To which village precisely are you referring? From what our driver-guides can recall ( Gionata and Claudio - both experts on this itinerary!) 2 people out of 15 got lost but caught up with the tour in no more than 15 min. Maybe they were simply not paying enough attention when the directions were given considering other participants found the spot correctly. In any case drivers always offer their contact number, it is also possible to call our office for assistance in case anyone gets lost. We understand that overall you had a nice day on the tour and we appreciate you taking your time to provide your comments.

Dear client, thank you for your feedback. Lunch, as advertised online, is not included in the tour and is optional - our drivers normally recommend a few places to eat based on their experience and on who is open on your specific tour date. All our drivers are local therefore their recommendation is reliable.  It is in no way compulsory to follow driver's suggestion and on the tour you are given free time to explore and have lunch in whichever restaurant you prefer. The tour operates as a small group tour - it's logistically impractical to place reservations for each client individually - the driver makes one reservation under his name as our company's representative. Your implication suggesting our driver-guides are in any way " connected" to the restaurants is unfounded and simply unfair. We cannot know what type of tours you took in the past and what were your experiences with other companies however rest assured we are an honest agency and have been successfully operating on the market since 1999.....

Thank you for providing your feedback. I can see you expected CT to be a less touristy location - I am sure you will agree that that's hardly something we can have any control over nor can we blame other tourists for wanting to visit this unique spot. Considering the distance between Florence and CT as well as timetable of the local boats and trains the tour features three out of five towns - Manarola Corniglia and Vernazza which we believe are the most picturesque and interesting ones and this is what we advertise on our website. If we added more spots the tour would be rushed and some of the senior travelers could have trouble following the tour - we need to consider we may have participants of different ages so the tour contents need to be adjusted to allow anyone to join and follow. We have been operating this tour for years and it never included all the five towns as logistically it would have been impossible to include them all if you depart and return to Florence on the same day. Perhaps you were look at a different website, not ours? Our driver-guides are all experienced and aware of the itinerary to follow - there are very few clean public toilettes hence we prefer to suggest going to a bar and using their restrooms as they are simply more convient and cleaner. On the day of the tour we had a total of two vans departing, each van with one English speaking driver-guide  - it is standard on this tour for the vans to follow each other so it may at times happen that the first van needs to wait for the second one but still - our driver-guides all speak English so if there is any issue you can simply ask for assistance. The stops in the towns ( depending on traffic) are normally 60 -70min or so, even more in case of Vernazza where there is also time for lunch. At the beginning of each stop the driver provides an explanation and then you are given free time.  The tour operates with a driver-guide - not to be confused with a local city guide. We are sorry you are not fully satisfied with the experience - we are professionals and we will check with the driver and other passengers asking them for feedback about the tour - if due to any delay you missed any tour portion we are ready to offer a compensation. I remain at disposal for any further assistance.

Given the distance from Florence and the timetable of the local trains we operate the tour featuring 3 of the 5 villages so that the tour is not too tight and customers can relax and explore the area in a leisurely manner. The boat ride in good weather is indeed a great experience so we are happy to read you had a lovely time on the tour. Thank you for booking with us!
