Thank you for your great comments- we love giving our customers the best service we can. The Touch Bar, and in fact all Simplehuman bins, are even better in real life than they look on our pages: the amazing finish of the steel, the solidity of the build and the quality of the mechanisms can only really be appreciated when you have the real thing in your home. The lid hinge and Touch bar are very well engineered to cope with years of use and are covered by the 10 year guarantee. Jane
