We agree that the Trento recyclers are very smart, compact and are a good choice for smaller spaces and households. They are not as weighty as one of our larger recyclers, but they are around half the price and represent good value in that respect. They are well made by Hailo who cover their bins with a five year guarantee. Jane

Thank you for your feedback: Simplehuman recycling bins are designed to occupy the floor space that customers may have previously devoted to one waste bin. The extra capacity needed for waste separation is built into the height, so that they can fit into as many kitchens as possible. 48 Litres is quite a large capacity but we have passed your comment on to Simplehuman who always value customer feedback in their product development.
