This is a very popular range of bins which sell in their thousands across Europe and are a great value product. You're right that these bins are great for compact spaces and they give enough capacity for effective recycling in smaller households. We've taken your comments on board and we've added this information to our 'What size of Bin' help page. We don't however want to say that these bins are not suitable for families, because many families do find that these bins fit a particular space, bring some colour to the kitchen and meet their needs. We're pleased that your Simplehuman recycler is more effective for you: it takes up a similar floorspace to the Hailo, but has the added height to give larger capacity. Jane

Many thanks for your positive rating on our service and products - we agree the Simplehuman Steel Bar Recycler is rather a stunning bin! We note your comments on the packaging. The packaging for all our Simplehuman bins has been developed to go straight out via couriers and has been extensively tested. The 'grab handles' are there to help our warehouse staff and couriers move the bins around as the boxes are quite large. Thankfully damage is relatively rare - the biggest danger is them being dropped. We really appreciate your comments and thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. Rob
