Hello, Many thanks for your feedback. We're very grateful for your continued use of Birchall Tea. We pride ourselves on our quality and service. I'm afraid, that as a small company, we have to charge £4.50 postage for orders under £30 to the UK to cover the cost of the tracking service and any returns. We completely understand that with big companies like Amazon offering free postage this may seem like a lot (although Amazon cover their costs with subscriptions fees for Prime), but without the charge we'd be losing money on small orders. We do often offer promos to help those who may struggle with the cost and all orders over £30 are completely free postage, to encourage a bigger order less frequently. Our tea stays fresh for at least a year and we advise 2 years when stored correctly, so this option is often preferable to keep postage costs down.
