For the second order in succession, they failed to deliver the goods as requested and had agreed upon. Ordered two undercounted bottle fridges, with time critical delivery agreed before placing order.

Good afternoon,

Thank you for your valued feedback.I am so sorry that you have been let down by our courier TNT. As a company, 98.2% of our products that leave our warehouse get to their destination on time. 

There are lots of reasons why this sometimes doesn’t happen, e.g. site access, customers not being available at the time etc.With such a tight timeframe, ie. ordered at 11:20am on the day before, to be delivered over 300 miles away makes it even more annoying.However, as the majority of our customers receive the goods in the timeframe that they need, we are unable to foresee the very small percentage of hiccups that may happen. 

When the do happen, we have an 8am -8pm 7 days a week service care line that you can make contact with which we feel is worth bearing in mind.Once again, apologies that we did not meet your expectations on this occasion.

For clarity, I don't believe I was let down by TNT, I believe that your company were at fault, because of the following. 1. I contacted your sales team at 4pm on the Friday to check on the whereabouts of the ordered goods and they advised me that they hadn't been despatched and were due to be collected that day. I asked if that meant they were going to be a day late and were scheduled for delivery on Saturday to be advised that they wouldn't arrive until the Monday. 2. The goods did arrive late on the Monday and were duly returned, but not until I had discussed this with TNT who presented me with a copy of their transport schedule showing that the items were only requisitioned for collection on the Friday for a Monday delivery. I can accept that the delivery of items at short notice can present challenges, but the order was accepted by your company on the basis the items required were in stock and I would receive them on the date requested. This did not happen, not because of site access or my team not being available to receive the goods but simply because the items were not despatched in the time agreed upon placing the order. I have purchased several thousands of pounds worth of goods from you over the last 16 months with little problem except for the last two orders. Whilst I now have doubt about the guarantees made by your staff about the ability of your company to delivery within tight timescales, this alone would not deter me from using the company again. However, an acceptance on your part that your protocols/practices contributed to this would ease concerns and offer appeasement that these failings would be prevented in the future due to your own internal review.
