I buy Church Times on a central subscription basis, which is carefully handled. Apart from Covid-19 difficulties currently experienced by Royal Mail, the paper is set to arrive on time weekly.

Thank you for your feedback and please accept my apologies that you were not able to speak to anyone when you called the subscriptions department. As confirmed by email, this subscription renewal has been cancelled as requested and the balance for issues not sent refunded. We send renewal information to everyone who purchases a trial subscription. However, renewing is entirely optional, and we will always cancel a subscription if this is purchased in error or no longer required for any reason.

Thanks for bothering to reply. It is all clear now. As I treid to explain n my e-mail, I think the way your handle the 'trial'period and th subscription should be different in particular the use of the phrase ''renewing subscription' when one only wanted to 'try' for 2 months. As it is I've opted to buy copies from my newsagent and will see what I do in a year's time.

My subscription lapsed without my being informed as I always previously have been. I was told I would be sent the missing two issues but they have not been sent. I am not impressed!
