Three day stay to visit the Emerdale tour and to see York. We experienced some great shops, pubs and restaurants and the tour was great. Such a good position where we were.

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for your feedback. We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed the gardens but were sorry that the house did not meet your expectations. The cottage is set under magnificent trees in a 4 acre garden. The shade of the trees means that on dull days guests may want to switch on the lights. Shortly after your stay, the house was inspected by a Cottages 4 You Regional Manager and no trace or smell of damp was found. The property has storage heaters and a multi-fuel stove for heating which can be used throughout the year.
