This problem was rectified immediately after your stay, in addition to the blocked drains, which turned out to be part of a larger drainage issue.
I'm sorry to hear that the master bedroom had an odour of smoke, and this is the first that I've heard of such an issue. I will have the carpets cleaned in this room and ensure that the cleaners thoroughly clean all surfaces and fabric to ensure that the odour is removed.
