Oh no! I'm sorry to hear this. Cotton shirts can shrink a little over time - although this isn't normally the case after just one wash and typically takes multiple washes. We also manufacture the shirts a touch larger than advertised to allow for this. In any case, you may wish to consider a return/exchange on the shirts for the next size up, just to be safe. This can be done easily and quickly online with us, if required.

It is indeed the case that offers/discounts only apply to products - not to 'services' such as shipping or alterations, monogramming etc. All colleagues should be aware of this fact, so it is frustrating that you were given the wrong information.
