Following our discussion on the phone yesterday, I can confirm that the images provided shows off the natural characteristics of the wood. The characteristics are visible knots and natural cracks. I can confirm that these are not faults, they are merely the nature of the wood. We do also advise this in the product description on the site. This is a great product.

We're truly saddened to see your feedback, we would have loved the opportunity to assist you if you had contacted us. Looking at the delivery tracking, we can see that the delivery was attempted on Saturday however, they were unable to deliver as no one was home. The tracking shows the option to rearrange your delivery for a date that you are available with dates available all week or alternatively, you have the option to change the delivery address.
