Many thanks for your comments, we take all feedback from clients whether positive or negative very seriously.
Your renewal premium was invited 3 week prior to the renewal date of which you accepted. Given the current economic conditions with high inflation and significantly increased building costs the opportunity of a rebuild cost assessment of your property was offered to assess whether your current sum insured was adequate, a service you accepted. The result of the survey advised you were under insured and required your building sum insured to be increased to ensure appropriate cover was in place and avoid the risk of reduced claims settlements. This increased requirement resulted in an additional cost, an additional cost that was in direct correlation to the increased requirement and now gives you peace of mind that you are correctly insured.
It is also noted that our payment terms are 7 days, your initial renewal premium was received in excess of a month outside of our credit terms and the current outstanding balance for the mid-term adjustment remains unpaid and currently a month and a half outside our credit terms.
Its noted our review requested was sent on the 7th March and your response today appears to coincide with being sent a cancellation request following non-payment.
We’d invite you to reconsider your 1 star review of our service.
