Thank you so much for your feedback. We would like to apologise again for the inconvenience caused. As explained to you on the day of your purchase, we are unfortunately no longer able to make bookings on behalf of Currumbin. We were unaware of this contractual change and we had no intentions to false advertise this product. We have now removed the booking option for Currumbin until the end of September. We have refunded the full amount back to your credit card on the same day. It was very unfortunate that your booking was made on a public holiday (Good Friday) and therefore the refund was delayed as banks don't operate on public holidays. Sorry to hear that your service was not up to satisfactory, during the Christmas period and new years it is a very busy period for the tourism industry so we are not always able to respond immediately. As the refund was processed during this time period, there are delays because of public holidays therefore the refund transaction might take a while then usually. Sorry for the inconvenience this has caused you and thank you for your time, we appreciate the feedback.

We were sorry that we were unable to get you onto this trip, but with the ever changing nature of operation during what has been an incredibly disrupted year for operators, customers and agents alike there have been lapses such as this which are unfortunately often out of all parties control. We are sorry for any inconvenience or frustration this causes you and hope you were able to find a suitable alternative activity and enjoyed your time in Cairns!

Understand there were some challenges but it seems from previous reviews that this was a common issue over the last few months. For people who may book reasonably last minute this sort of booking system means people will book thinking they have something organised to a week later finding out it is now not available. In that week they may miss out on other activities because they thought they were going on your cruise and the other places booked out in the meantime. Either your system needs attention to prevent overbooking or it is a concious decision by the company to potentially protect against cancellations and that is pretty poor for your potential customers. This was our 1st weekend free of our kids and we were really looking forward to the dinner cruise only to be deflated when it was cancelled.
