Sorry to hear this wasn't the case for you on this occasion. We got in contact with the operator regarding this and have allowed them to respond to you: " We are sorry that you feel this way about your trip with us.We do our hotel pick ups in Surfers Paradise at 7:00am and return back to hotels at 12:00pm. If you had you own transport then it would have been 4 hours approx. We got on the water at 8:00am after we did all the safety briefings. Tours times change daily due to currents, weather conditions and customers ability, we are always thinking about safety, not how long its taking. Sometimes we go over time and sometimes under. The advertised is a guide but duration can change due to conditions on the day.We can see dolphins in all conditions, they live in the area and chase fish every day around our snorkelling area, they are wild and we don't feed them to attract them to us. A little girl on the trip said she seen a stingray while snorkelling, its a matter of being in the right place at the right time.We didn't make it to South Stradbroke Island due to safety reasons after the guides did a risk assessment. It was decided not to go and we spent more time snorkelling with fish. You never said anything to the guides that you were disappointed in your trip, if you did we could have done something to work it out. "

Sorry if you thought your card was charged and then the booking was cancelled, this was not the case. The way the booking process works is that a booking request is made by yourself and your card will be charged at the point of this request, which is all outlined in our terms and conditions. This is because we need your chosen activity to be fully paid for in order to create a booking. Sometimes activities are popular which means they do become fully booked and therefore unavailable. Sadly this was the case for the date you requested on your booking form. Therefore we did our best to find you an alternative date and time or even another activity that may be of interest to you. On this occasion, we got you out on another activity and refunded you the difference as soon as possible. Sorry that we weren't able to accommodate your original booking request but we hope you appreciated our efforts to find you an alternative crocodile experience!
