Thank you for your comments. Pricing is reviewed on a regular basis and is subject to change. A number of factors can impact an annual premium increase, such as age of driver, postcode, where the vehicle is kept, type of vehicle and their value (but not limited to). Also, claims inflation and the average claim cost have increased. The rating structures used to influence insurance premiums are based on statistics. These statistics are derived from the claims trends that have been experienced over previous years. Insurers study these to enable them to make a prediction on what risks are more likely to experience claims in the future and therefore adjust the premiums they charge to cater for this. We do take all feedback on board which assists us when we discuss rates with insurers.
