I wonder if these emails were either placed in your junk/spam email or worse, blocked by your email provider, thinking we are not a friendly bunch...Please do mark us as "not junk' to prevent this happening again. We are concerned you were unable to write your gift card message on our website. We are not aware there were any technical issues at the time or since. Please note, once you "add to basket" with your gift card, it will remain as you ordered, either with or without a message. In your case, we saw there was no message stipulated on your order.
