I am disappointed to read that your delivery was delayed due to the courier failing to bring it to the address clearly stated on the goods the next day which meant it went back to the depot for no reason only to be sent out again at a later date. I can only apologise on behalf of DX as they are a third party company to Galleon and we do rely on them to deliver our orders in the timescales provided ( although we endeavour this to be next day it is not guaranteed ). I hope the service you receive from Galleon continues to meet your expectations and the products you ordered are to the usual quality you have come to expect from us. We do use EVRI for our smaller consignments and they are delivered by individual drivers who use their own vehicles to make these deliveries so that is not uncommon to see. Our larger consignments are delivered by DX which have their own fleet of transport. Thank you for your valued custom. However a doorstep delivery has always been our policy with all our couriers even when it was Tuffnells as the drivers are only insured to deliver to ground floor. I am aware that some drivers did go above and beyond at their own risk but this has never been company policy ( as per our terms and conditions on the website ). I can see that you have been purchasing this product for many years and i hope that the quality and value of the goods do not deter you from ordering from Galleon in the future.
