Thank you for your feedback on your recent purchase from Galleon Supplies. I am sorry to read that you were very disappointed with the service you received due to the non delivery of your order. I know you have been a customer for a few years now and are aware that we have always used Tuffnells as our contracted carrier and had a great track record for deliveries from Galleon. Unfortunately this company sadly went into administration and left us with our only other small parcel carrier which is EVRI. As a company we are doing our upmost to send our goods out to our customers with as little disruption as possible, however this is proving very challenging for both us as a company and our customers . We are currently advising customers ( on our website ) that deliveries can be 48hours although as with our next day this is never guaranteed. The biggest challenge is EVRI work every day and much later hours meaning occasionally some deliveries are attempted out of office hours and at weekends. I can see that this is what was happening with your order and after 3 occasions I totally understand you felt it necessary to request a full refund which i can see has been actioned. I can only apologies and assure you that we are currently in process of acquiring another courier suitable to take our freight and hope to resume normal service very shortly. Thank you for your feedback on your recent purchase from Galleon Supplies. I was disappointed to read that you did not receive your goods within our estimated timescales of 48 hours. As a company we are doing our upmost to keep our goods going out to our customers since the courier we used for many years went in to administration over night. Unfortunately this is proving a little challenging as we are having to use EVRI ( which we only used for smaller consignments in the past ) for all our deliveries and they have a 7 day a week service and until later into the evening. This is challenging for Galleon as we have always offered Monday-Friday service between 8am and 6pm which was perfect for most businesses. I can see that EVRI had tried to deliver on 2 occasions prior to you receiving your goods and one of these being a Sunday ! I can only apologies for the delay and kindly ask our customers to bear with us while we find a more permanent solution to this dilemma . Thank you for your valued custom.
