Dear Bill,
Thank you so much for taking the time to let us know that Lisa's service was good and that all the accommodation was top-notch - we really value such in-depth feedback of this calibre as it helps us improve our service. We appreciate it when guests like you let us know about all aspects of their trip, so thank you!
We agree that immigration services can sometimes be challenging and are in communication with the authorities and the broader industry about improving this so that our clients can have an optimal experience. We do apologise profusely for the wait and thank you for your patience.
In connection with your stay in Johannesburg, Lisa booked you into 131 Herbert Baker, which is the best hotel in the city of Pretoria for the Rovos Rail departure at Capital Park, also in Pretoria. As you checked in at about 2pm in the afternoon and were checking out early the next morning to catch the train, a drive to and tour of Johannesburg would have been tricky. The distance is more than 33 miles and the traffic is very heavy - although she did suggest the option of a tour, it actually worked out better for you not to have taken it as you would have spent much of the afternoon in bad traffic and wouldn't have got to see much of Johannesburg before you had to head back for dinner. We will certainly look at a good tour of Pretoria to offer guests based off your experience.
Lisa is so excited to be working on your next trip, which we hope will be even better than your first! Thank you again for this invaluable feedback and very best regards, Go2Africa
