Thank you for your feedback. Although you ordered towards the end of the bare root season, as a native of Scotland, where the season normally extends into May (especially in cold year as has been the case in 2013), I'm surprised to review your feedback. Although a failure rate of 10% can be expected when planting bare roots all plants should prosper (provided they are cared for) although certain species including Cotoneaster can defoliate but will 're-generate'. If you have not already done so applying a feed to the plants would I'm sure help them. Claire Walton - Hedges Direct Service Team
