The plants came heaped together in a large cardboard box with some outside the pots and partly damaged.

Thank you for your feedback. Clearly the boxes in which your plants were delivered must have been handled 'roughly' by our carriers Parcel Force, to whom we have provided appropriate feedback. Although we have no redress against Parcel Force for such damage, we have forwarded a report to them as part of us working in partnership to maintain the highest possible levels of customer satisfaction. However if any of the plants do not prosper as a result of them being damaged in transit please let me know and I'll arrange to send you replacements free of charge. With regards to height of the plants then although I appreciate why you may feel disappointed they were within the height range specified. This year the growth of plants has been held back by the extremely cold weather so most are at least 4 weeks behind in their development in which space of time you'll find the plants will at least be at the top end of the height range you've purchased. Given the difficulties you've experienced with your order we will discount any future order you place by 15%. Claire Walton - Hedges Direct Service Team

The price was considerably cheaper than local garden centres and the whips were as good, maybe better, than those held there.
