Amanda - I was very disappointed when I read your review. At Hiscox we have a reputation for the level of service we provide, which in your case we have clearly fallen short on. No excuses. We did have an issue with the website call scheduling in late summer, which would explain the fact we didn't call you within the allotted time. That aside though, what is inexcusable is promising you a call which didn't subsequently transpire. I will be reviewing this with my leadership team to see why we didn't make the call - and making sure we learn from it. On a brighter note, thanks for the more positive feedback on the website. We've worked hard to drag business insurance into the 21st Century and provide real-time online quotes. Thanks again for the feedback and giving us an opportunity to improve. Our service is designed specifically for small businesses, which means our minimum premiums are often much lower than our competitors (who generally take their insurance products for big companies and market them to small businesses). There are a small number of business types where we offer General Liability but not the Errors and Omissions insurance.
