Nevertheless, I am sorry you felt that more time should have been dedicated specific tools to use in the areas and that the distinction between the two should have clearer. Lot of role play, I would have preferred to have been given a scenario to deal with rather than having to think up something to act out.

Thank you so much for your feedback. We’re sorry you felt the role play section should have been done differently. We made the decision quite a long time ago that it would be more beneficial for delegates to use their own material. This is so the role plays more closely replicate what happens to people in the real world. This makes the exercise all the more useful for growth but admittedly can also be challenging and perhaps feel uncomfortable in the moment. By using real situations in a safe space, people get a chance to practise new techniques that are relevant to them. They also get positive feedback on how successfully these skills are being used before going out in to the workplace or using them in social situations. I thought the course was well run it was nice there were only 6 of us and from different businesses - the content was good and interactive - only downfall was the trains to get to the venue :-)
