We are always very concerned to hear of a delay in deliveries to our customers. On this occasion we dispatched the order the same day it was received (6th May), as always, on a next working day service. It should have been delivered on the 7th May. It is an unfortunate fact that if the courier services do not meet their delivery promises it is beyond our control, however, as soon as we are made aware of a problem we take immediate steps to resolve it asap. On this occasion we were not advised there was a problem by our customer until the 13th May. Since that time we feel we have done everything possible to resolve the issue whilst keeping the customer updated. We are assured by the courier company that delivery is being made today. We do of course appreciate that our customer has had to wait an unacceptable amount of time for this order and we do take that very seriously. We are taking the matter up with the courier company to find out what went wrong and to avoid any repeat. G.S

I am delighted to hear that successful delivery has been made. We very much regret the unusual length of time it took the courier to execute this delivery and offer our sincere apologies for the inconvenience. Admittedly, we are advised this particular delivery address is a little difficult to find. However, we could have resolved the issue much sooner if the courier company had advised us that their driver could not locate the address on the first delivery attempt. Several days were wasted with our customer waiting patiently for the goods to arrive and we, the seller, unaware there was a problem. We have taken this issue up directly with the courier company and therefore do not expect a recurrence of the same. Thank you for your valued custom. G.S

We are always hugely disappointed if a customer feels our service has not been 100% satisfactory. Unfortunately, on this occasion the delivery postcode was classed as 'Highlands & Islands'. Whilst all our orders are normally dispatched on a next working day service, it is stated on our website that we are unable to offer the same service to that region due to limitations by the courier company. However, as we appreciate how inconvenient that can be we offered to send the order on an alternative courier service which would take up to 4 or 5 working days. We asked the customer if that would be preferable to cancelling the order. To try and make life easy we also advised that we would send the order with the alternative courier the following day if we did not hear anything to the contrary. We did not receive a reply so sent the order on the 4-5 day service. The first delivery attempt was at the end of the same week but unfortunately it appears no one was home. The item was successfully delivered on the 4th working day following dispatch. We regret that our customer feels we performed below standard on this occasion and would just like to reassure that our intentions were to try and assist by offering options instead of just saying we couldn't or wouldn't do it.
