Does its job. It's a good quality top fermenter and is a bit sticky so good for bottling if that is your thing. I often exchange the kit yeast for this one or for S-05 which I also like.

A dark, hoppy brew very much in the style of a strong English ale. It doesn't have the taste, strength or colour of any barley wines I've had from commercial breweries and I'd say it's closer to Fulle
