Thanks for your feedback. As you say, the manufacturers often package larger tools part assembled so they fit into a more compact box. If you were to visit our stores (Bartram Mowers in Ipswich and Norwich) we would be able to put together your tool for you. We can't do this with online orders or they wouldn't fit back in the box and would risk damage in transport. All the best, Maddie Russell Lawnmowers Direct
