It is so useful to receive such a comprehensive overview of the walks especially with regard to specifics. This information is so helpful to me and the team, and can only assist in allowing us to tweak and improve to ensure a perfect walk on a wonderful trail . We do our utmost to keep up to date with the latest developments and endeavour to visit the accommodations when we can. It is only when clients such as yourself overnight as walkers and let us know exactly what the latest situation is, that we get a true picture.Indeed your feedback is invaluable.
Overall I am delighted that you had a good time on the ‘Way’ and I hope that the weather was clement. I am however, very disappointed and indeed saddened that certain accommodations did not meet your expectations. We are most careful to ensure that each and every property is a preferred option, well reviewed and has proven popular with clients in the past. Each room was secured in good faith in that it would provide the comfort that you deserve. However, it is apparent that on certain occasions you were disappointed. I am most apologetic that this may have marred your overall enjoyment and we shall be looking into the standards of each property in order to rectify any issues. We shall definitely take all your comments and observations on board with regard to future bookings and I am therefore most thankful to you for raising these points.
Thank you for raising the point with regard to the baggage being transferred into your room. This service does vary from accommodation to accommodation with certain proprietors being more than willing to assist. It would indeed be marvellous to have this service provided throughout. However, other accommodations have specific baggage drop off/collection areas due to the large volume of clientele. I hope that this situation of having to move your own bag from such an area to your room did not pose too much discomfort. To move on to the additional baggage charge, well in your pre departure information we request that you take a maximum of one overnight bag per person, each with a maximum weight of 20KG. This is due to available space in the vehicle and with regard to weight, the health and safety implications. The baggage charge is per piece for the duration of the walk and therefore any additional piece of baggage is therefore charged accordingly. I am sure that you shall understand that we do ask for the maximum baggage limit to be adhered to in order to ensure that we have the space available for all clients.
