A delightful selection of floral art cards. Celebrating British flowers of the four seasons in imagery created by popular 20th and 21st century artists. From the spare delicacy of ‘Winter Garden’ by Leslie Greenwood (1907-87) and ebullient ‘Daffodils & Freesia’ by Vernon Ward (1905-85), to the abundant ‘Daisies, Buttercups and Beeblossom’ by Derek Brown (b.1924), and ‘Autumn Arrangement’ by Edith Hilder (1904-92). Reproducing paintings and illustrations from the archives of Royle Publications, one of Britain’s leading greetings card companies of the post-war era; Royle Publications was co-founded by the visionary publisher Noel Carrington (1895-1989). Made exclusively for Museum Selection.
