Squirrel costume brooch, hand-enamelled and crystal set, echoing a 1920s original now in a private collection. In the 1920s and '30s, a monochromatic colour theme rose to prominence as Art Deco spread across Europe. This monochrome scheme was juxtaposed with silver and new metals, reflected in this sparkling brooch. Our characterful squirrel is wearing a silver bow with silver highlights on its tail and paws. Pin on before you leave the house for that finishing touch. Made exclusively for Museum Selection.
